GCU Lahore BSCS Admissions 2018

Government College University (GCU), Lahore is one of the oldest Institute located in the heart of Lahore. The Department of Computer Science was established in 1999 as an independent department under the supervision of the university. The Department of Computer Science is only offering Self Finance (Merit Based) Seats. The Department is located in the Postgraduate Block of the University and it has three labs.
There are three Departmental Societies namely: ACM, IEEE and Computer Science Society.

Eligibility Criteria 
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria before applying:
  • Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical with Additional Maths / ICS with Maths).
  • Candidates must have appeared in entry test conducted by the Department.
Entry Test
An Entry Test would be conducted by the Department of Computer Science for admission to its BS Computer Science Program.

Reserved Seats
A small number of seats are reserved according to the rules but admissions will be based on the merit distribution of that category.
  1. Hafiz e Quran
  2. Children of Overseas Pakistanis
  3. University's Staff Son / Daughter
  4. Disabled Students
  5. Sports / Co curricular Activities

Application Procedure
Online Registrations will open in June-July 2018. 
It is expected that admissions will only open for GCU Lahore Kala Shah Kaku - KSK (New Campus) and not for the Main Campus.

    Those students that would be enrolled in BSCS in fall 2019 in GCU Lahore, where would they be accommodated ? In Lahore campus or KSK Campus !?
